About Kiyomi

Hello! I am Kiyomi Hirose, a singer, an actor and a dancer based in New York.

I was born, raised, and educated in Osaka, Japan. Obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from University of Kobe, Japan.
I had passion for music all of my life, but I turned to lean towards Gospel music. It inspired me because I knew in my heart that I was strong willed person. After I joined a Japanese gospel group, I decided to create my own choir and I taught my Japanese people the Gospel all about which I have learned as person as Kiyomi Hirose. The more I learned about the Gospel, the more I wanted to accomplish my dreams, my goals, and aspirations. So, I decided to come to New York City, USA. In my experience coming to New York, I realized there was lots more freedom concerning my creativity. And I understood it was good opportunity for me to become a part of the gospel choir. Because of the passion, I actually accomplished some of my dream concerning being a part of a gospel group. And I expressed hard work and diligent work becoming a member of Bisho Hezekiah Walker and Love Fellowship Tabernacle Mass Choir that is based in Brooklyn, New York. After 7 years’ serving the church, I extended my choir career to join a commercial choir, The New York City Gospel Choir which is based in New York City, New York.

Meanwhile, due to polish my expression skill in singing, I took an acting class and studied how to build more layer and texture in it. At same time, I found the fun in acting, and started the background career.
My passion, the African American Gospel is originated from the slavery; hard times and the worship of our creator – the most high – who has created all human beings to be equal and to be treated equally.

Humanity is the top of the list of my morals and my values. I see this humanity in singing and acting. I am pushing forward struggling and surviving but I believe I will reach my goals, my dreams, and my aspirations because God has made me who I am, and I will accomplish what His purpose made for me as human being. I am a rare human being; I love and respect all who respect themselves.
